My hobbies are Genealogy and Dolls house miniatures ,I started doing Genealogy 35 Years ago which was a big challenge for me but I am still doing it today The dolls house miniatures I started when I was 50 as my son always knew I wanted a dolls house so bought me one for my 50th Birthday what a lovely suprise that was as well ,It was some thing I had always wanted but where to start that was another thing it was all made up but I did not know the first thing about how to put lights in or lay a carpet ,In fact I did not know where to buy the dolls house things from ,I did a lot of searching on the web and found there was a dolls house shop on my door step in my local town of great yarmouth .

I could not wait for the saterday morning to come and of I went with my hubby to look at what they had ,my son had said that the house was a 1/12th house well i was none the wiser by him telling me that


Things I am working at the moment

This is my haberdash shop I am working on now

the ones below are my 1/24th which are nearly finished

I decided to alter my big 1/12th house in the bottom as a shop its a haberdashery shop

I am making boxes for it at the moment I have started to fill the shelves which is taking a lot longer than I thought
